Kosovo has great potential for industrial development and increased opportunities for
export, but to compete in international markets, it is essential that the products

9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for
occupational safety and health, and ISO 22000 for food safety are essential
to ensure that Kosovar products are compliant with global requirements.
For this reason, it is necessary for the Kosovo government to create a fund dedicated to
financial support for businesses seeking to obtain international certifications. This fund
can partially cover the costs of certification and auditing, enabling more
companies to apply for certifications that are necessary for export. It is also
important to create a support platform that provides assistance in the process of
certification, offering training and consulting to companies that want to prepare for
international audits and certifications.
